Brief:

Construction of a waste water pump station on NZDF land at the Burnham Military camp and rising main to the Selwyn District Council WWTP at “the Pines” in Rolleston to remove the existing NZDF WWTP from service as it was no longer able wot operate within it’s resource consent conditions.

Scope:

- Design, supply and installation of a GRP wet well and valve chamber along with 3 of 50KL emergency storage tanks.
- Earthworks involving bulk excavation 3000m3 with cuts up to 6m in depth.
- Concrete works for foundations and finishing slabs to wet well, valve chamber, MCC Building and site.
- 3.2KM of pressure main pipeline/
- Steel casing installation under both State Highway 1 and the Kiwirail South Island Main Trunk line.
- Tie in to the existing inlet chamber at “The Pines” WWTP in Rolleston.
- Water supply upgrades including washdown storage, booster pump and RPZ setups.
- Orion power supply cable.
- Construction of access area and landscaping.
